Community Centro Studi is a think tank, an analysis processing centre which publishes books, researches and scientific studies in behalf of management and non-profit organizations at a national level. Community is a professional network made up of ten people who take care about different business aspects, like management, marketing, management audit and so on.
Community is a non-profit association of social formation, self financed through the sale of products and services of management in behalf of the national non-profit organizations.
As President of Community I came to Sicily four years ago, in 2011 and I immediately realized that this territory has extraordinary opportunities, maybe unused, and since I come from the North, from developed contexts I think it is possible to improve them; so, there are potentialities that can define a new development, an organic development of the territory.
Here hence FAIRSUD, your experience in Sicily has its origins: FAIRSUD wants to combine together the best energies, the best non-profit organizations of the territory, creating a new model both endogenous and external, particularly useful for the local communities. All the development paradigms, imposed from the outside, are overturned.
FAIRSUD, your experience in Sicily, through our portal, will take care about four or even five areas: Hospitality, Wine and Food, Cultural and Panoramic Paths, Philosophical and Managerial Training Course (because the first problem of Sicily, of Italy is the lack of an adequate ruling class, in both private and public sector, but even in the non-profit one), and an ecommerce area with all the typical and ethical local products. The question is not “what do we have to do?” but “how do we have to be?” “how do we have to develop a paradigm completely different from the past?”, with a few money, resources, but trying to appraise all the territory offers, through a consciousness course.
